Common questions
How do I get started?
Open the app, sign in with Apple, and answer a handful of questions. Maroon picks your starting calorie and protein targets and you can begin logging immediately.
I logged the wrong food or portion. How do I fix it?
Tap the entry on the day's screen and edit the portion, swap the food, or remove it. Your totals update instantly.
Why do my targets keep changing?
Maroon uses your rolling weight average to nudge your targets each week. That's the system working — your goals stay accurate as your weight moves, without you having to do math.
I changed my mind. How do I switch goals (lose / maintain / gain)?
Settings → Goal. Targets recalculate on the spot.
Do I have to weigh in every day?
No. Maroon expects one weigh-in a week. Daily weigh-ins make the rolling average smoother but they're optional.
The app crashed.
Force-close and reopen — most issues clear that way. If it happens again, email support@getmaroon.app with your iOS version and the version listed in Settings → About. Screenshots help.
Will Maroon ever come to Android?
Not today. Maroon is iOS-only on purpose — we'd rather do one platform exceptionally well.
Subscriptions
Apple handles billing.
Maroon’s subscription is sold through the App Store, so billing, cancellation, and refunds are handled by Apple — not by us.
Cancel
Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Maroon → Cancel. Your access continues until the end of the current period.
Restore
Sign in to your iPhone with the Apple ID you used to subscribe, then in Maroon: Settings → Subscription → Restore purchases.
Refund
Refunds are issued by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and request a refund for Maroon.
Account deletion
In the app, in two taps.
Settings → Account → Delete account. Your account and everything in it is removed permanently and cannot be recovered. If you can’t reach the option for any reason, email support@getmaroon.app from your account address and we’ll do it for you.
Reporting an issue
Tell us what happened.
Email support@getmaroon.app with: your iOS version, the Maroon version (Settings → About), what you were doing when it happened, and a screenshot if you have one. We read everything.
